In order to use a Falcon tow bar on your 1986 Chevy S-10, you will need to equip the vehicle with base plates first, see link. The base plates provide the safe and secure attachment point required for the tow bar.

In addition to the tow bar and base plates you will also need safety cables, like # RM-643 and a lighting solution. I recommend a magnetic light kit like # RM-2120 because it is cost effective and easy to set up.

Most states now require a supplemental braking system on the vehicle being towed. The easiest system to set up and use is the Even Brake, # RM-9400 which is a proportional system. Proportional systems are the safest way to stop and reduce wear and tear on both vehicles.
