Troubleshooting No Trailer Lights Function After Failing to Unplug Before Driving Away

Question:

my trailer lights were working but I accidentally pulled the vehicle away from the trailer without unplugging the harness. I broke the 6 pin connector on the trailer side of the pigtail harness. I ordered a new pigtail 7-pin for TV to 6-pin trailer side and connected it. Now i have no lights at all. I ran a jumper for the ground and that didnt help. The connections are clean and in decent shape. Is there a fuse that could have blown? The tow vehicle is an 2018 Toyota Sienna

It's very possible you blew a fuse in your Sienna for the trailer wiring. If you have access to a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 you can test for voltage at the connector on the Sienna to see if there is power on the pins. If not, then you know the issue is fuse related and you'd need to check them. If power is good then the issue is the wiring on the trailer or the adapter you are using.

I also attached a help article on troubleshooting trailer wiring for you to check out as well.
