Swapping the CTS2 Tuner Between Vehicles
Question:
I had my truck with the cts2 but I recently sold it and what happens is that it saves that I want to put the cts2 in another truck, it wont let me what can I do if I no longer have the other truck?

If you are using the CTS2 Tuner, specifically Part # EP31507 you will be able to install it on the following models:
2013 - 2018 Ram 2500 6.7L I6 Diesel Engine - Turbocharged
2013 - 2018 Ram 3500 6.7L I6 Diesel Engine - Turbocharged
2013 - 2014 Dodge Ram Pickup 6.7L I6 Diesel Engine - Turbocharged
If you did not set the truck back to the stock mapping before you sold it, you will have to plug the tuner into one of the models above, let it power on. Then, you will enter into the "Quick Link Menu", click "Settings", find and click "Factory Reset" then press "Yes". This should reset your tuner.
Now, go back to the "Quick Link Menu", go to "Performance Tuning", click "Level 0", then press "Yes" This will set your new truck to stock tuning as it most likely already was. This should now allow you to be able to tune your new truck to whatever performance options you prefer.
