Will the rear hatch on a 2003 Nissan Xterra SE interfere with the Thule Force XL? Also, can the cargo box be installed on the factory installed cross bars?

I checked with Thule and the Force XT model that you referenced would interfere with the rear hatch on your 2003 Nissan Xterra but you can use the Pulse L, # TH615, and it will not interfere. The box will also fit the factory roof rack on the vehicle.
