Replacing Bumper Mounted Off-Road Lights on 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport
Question:
For a 99 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4.0L: Factory switch exists as does wiring for both lamps - appears original lamps were removed at some point. Fuse located under the hood is 20 amp. Will these lamps be ok to use? Thanks

Since the factory circuit was rated for a maximum of 20 amps, and the Putco # P231920 Driving Lamps will not draw over that, so you could certainly install them using the existing factory circuit and wiring.
Keep in mind that the original lights might have been removed due to a wiring problem, so you should not assume that the existing wiring is in good condition. I would recommend examining the circuit, if possible.
