OK not sure what to call it, I have a Coachman Freedom Express trailer in which the ball coupler is mounted to a frame below the main frame can I still attach this JT strong setup to it?

Yes JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer Kit for Travel Trailers part # LC191025 will work for your application. With the stabilizer jacks being under the frame it will allow for perfect attachment of the Strong Arm System. It is very flexible in the mounting options and works with most any camper the connection point at the stabilizer jack is fully pivoting allowing a ton of flexibility.
I've attached the video I did on the system for you to check out where I explain the attachment method.
