Where to Place the Head of the B&W 5th Wheel Hitch on 2018 Ram 3500 Mega Cab
Question:
I see comments for slightly ahead of center line of axle. My truck is a 2018 ram 3500 mega cab, and my pin box is a reese side winder. The hitch is a BW that s into the pucks. So just to confirm you recommend setting the BW supports for just slight ahead of center, correct?

That is correct. When installing the B&W # BWRVK3600 you want the king pin either directly over the rear axle or slightly in front of it; slightly ahead of center is likely going to be the best placement for your short bed truck and a Reese Sidewinder, but you can adjust it to center to suit your needs.
