Electric Winch Recommendation to Pull 1,500 Pound Logs onto a Utility Trailer
Question:
What type of winch should I use to pull 8-10foot around 1000lbs-1500lbs logs onto a utility trailer?

Since you will be more or less dragging the log, you will want a winch with at least the capacity of the heaviest log, but I would go a little heavier than that to account for longer winching distances and flat terrain should you encounter it.
A 3.4K winch like # BDW15018 would be a great option and you would have plenty of capacity.
A winch with a higher capacity will not be working as hard as a lower capacity winch and it will last longer. I have also linked our FAQ on electric winches for you.
