Replacement 7 Pole Plug for a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup
Question:
Can you confirm if by hopeful chance your 7 pin trailer plug / tail is a direct replacement for OEM? My trucks original plug was broken after a small car slid into my bumper last winter, so now the plug has a broken lid and means the trailer plug will fall out unless wired together. I really don't want to cut wires unless I have to. Thanks!

On your 1996 Dodge Ram Pickup the factory OEM 7 pole plug is not compatible with Pollak Replacement 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket - Vehicle End Item # PK11893 however, we do offer a 7 pole plug with wiring that will match up to the wiring on your vehicle. I recommend 7-Way Pre-Wired Car Connector, 7' Lead Item # 20023. This kit comes with everything you need to get it installed on your vehicle.
