What are the measurements for the rails to be installed on the 2001 Chevy 8 foot long box.

The rear rail of the fifth wheel rail kit part # RP30035 that fits your 2001 Chevy Silverado long bed will need to be 30 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed and then you'll use the hitch # RP30047 that you referenced (or a different one if you have one already) to place the front rail.
