Recommended Bike Rack for E-Bikes with Fenders
Question:
We recently bought two e-bikes with fenders and need a carrier within the next three weeks that will fit on our 2018 Ford F-150 pickup or 2014 Chevy Traverse. From the research that we have done, it seems that we need a frame mount platform rack. This Thule model seems to be the best but won’t arrive on time for our trip. What else would you recommend, and what are the major differences in those models? Thank you!

The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2 Electric Bike Rack part # HLY84FR is my favorite e-bike rack as it can be adapted to fit pretty much any type of bike. The above will work with bikes up to 80 lbs straight out of the box and because of the frame mount design will accommodate bikes with fenders. It will work on pretty much any vehicle with 2" hitch.
The main advantage the Thule EasyFold XT 2 E-Bike Platform Rack part # TH903202 has over the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2 Electric Bike Rack is the ramp.
