Does the Lock Core On Extang EnCore Tonneau for Ford F-150 Need Replaced When Switching Trucks
Question:
I changed trucks but kept the tonno on my 2019 f150 short bed. Now the key won’t work. Do you sell a core with its own keys? Or do I have to do the factory ket set-up with a new core? I have a keyless ignition system and the factory key that pulls pot of the gob is small.

In regards to an Extang EnCore Hard Tonneau Cover, you'll need to change the lock core if you switch trucks and take the cover with you. The Replacement OEM BOLT Lock for Extang EnCore Hard Tonneau Cover part # EX28620192-28 is what you need and it will work with the emergency key in your key fob.
