Installing Front Rail of B&W Custom Installation Kit # BWRVK2506

Question:

Hello, I have purchased the BandW rail mounting kit RVK2506 for use with a BandW Patriot 18k Slider RVK3270 to be used in a 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD 6.5foot box. Due to shipping delays, I will not have the hitch in time to complete the install of the rails important for positioning of front rail. In the instructions, it requires that the hitch is used to position the front rail after the rear rail is mounted. Are you able to provide critical dimensions for positioning the FRONT rail, when used with a RVK3270, without using the hitch for install? Thank you!

The base rails that come in the B&W Custom Installation Kit for your 2016 Chevy Silverado, part # BWRVK2506, have spacing that is 20-1/2 inches by 22 inches to meet the standard base.

If you measure the center of the rear base rail hole to the center of the front base rail holes it will be 22 inches. I've attached a photo of similar industry standard base rails to assist.
