Recommended Trunk Mount Bike Rack to Carry 2 Bikes on 2018 BMW X5

Question:

BMW x5 - best trunk mount for 2 bikes. I am considering the Yakima half back versus the Thule Gateway. What would be your preference?

Comparing Yakima and Thule is really like comparing Nike and Adidas. When it comes to the Thule Gateway # TH88VR and the Yakima FullBack # Y02634. These are both great bike racks that include a cable lock integrated into the rack, so your bikes are secured to the rack at all times.

The Thule Gateway Pro # TH88VR does have an integrated cable lock for the bikes. The "locks not included" spec on the page is a mistake and we'll get that updated.
