Will B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 Work With Any 5th Wheel

Question:

Im looking at this product: Is this compatible with the 2004 Wildcat. Im a little concerned about the kingpin. I have no idea what type of kingpin is on the 2004 Wildcat. Im fairly handy. Can I reasonably complete this installation myself? Thank you.

The B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # BWGNRK1012 with B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # BWRVK3400 is an excellent option for a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, one of the best combos on the market actually. In regards to the pin box/king pin compatibility, there are very few that won't work with this so that should not really be a concern. The only type that won't are those with a rotating turret but these are very rare and can be locked out if need be.

In regards to installation, it's not difficult. It does however take some time to get things right so as long as you set aside a half a day or so I have full confidence you can do this yourself at home. You won't need a lift or any special tools really.
