Fit of SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box on 2012 Volkswagen Golf

Will this cargo roof box fit with my car? 2012 Volkswagen Golf TDI.

If your Golf has a roof rack with crossbars that are less than 4 inches in diameter and that can be adjusted so that their center to center distance apart is between 25-7/8, 27-7/8, or 29-7/8 inches, the SportRack Vista XL # SR7018 would work well for your Golf.
If you do not have a roof rack with crossbars, one can be installed using the following parts:
53 Inch WingBar Crossbar # TH711400 in silver or # TH711420 in black
Thule EVO Clamp Foot Pack # TH710501
Vehicle Specific Fit Kit # TH145009
I have spoken with my contact at Thule, which is the parent company of SportRack who assured me that the Vista XL box will fit.
