Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2010 Hyundai Accent with Manual Transmission

I have a roadmaster 5250 towbar.Willthe 1623-1 fit the towbar and hook up to a 2010 Hyundia accent manual transmission?

The Roadmaster XL base plates, # 1623-1, are compatible with all Roadmaster tow bars and they do fit the 2010 Hyundai Accent with manual transmission.

You will also need safety cables like # RM-643 and a lighting solution. I recommend the bulb and socket kit # RM-155 because you will not have to cut into the vehicle wiring for installation. However, you will need to drill new holes into the backs of the tail light housing for the bulbs.

Most states now require a supplemental braking system on the vehicle being flat towed. The easiest system to set up and use is the Even Brake, # RM-9400. This is a proportional system that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. this is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
