Can Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution System With 2 Inch Shank Use 2-1/2 Inch Shank

I have no desire to use the 2inch shank that comes with BXW1506. 1 Is there a part number that dropss the shank altogether? 2 Can 2-1/2inch shank be substituted? p/n BXW4018?

All of the Blue Ox SwayPro systems come with a shank, and there is not an option to get the system sans shank, including with the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution # BXW1500.
You can simply substitute the 2" shank of that system with a 2-1/2" shank, and though the part number you listed has been discontinued, you can use the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution Shank for 2-1/2" Hitches # BXW4028.
