2006 F-250 Super Duty Suspension Enhancement for Towing Horse Trailer
Question:
I am pulling horse trailers with my 2006 F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab short wheel base. Some of the trailers make the truck squat down up to 4 inches. What is you suggestion for increasing my load capacity and keeping the truck level?

Expert Reply:
To give your 2006 Ford F-250 additional suspension support when towing your horse trailers I recommend the RoadActive Suspension kit part # RAS3611-HD which will give you adjustable suspension support of up to 3,000 additional lbs and unlike other options does not make the ride quality harsh or uncomfortable which is why I recommend it as the best option.
You should note that kits like this do not increase the towing capacity of the vehicle overall but instead just help support the suspension and allow you to tow safer within the factory capacity.
