Black Screen With Custom Third Brake Light Camera on 2013 Ford F-250
Question:
I purchased a 3rd brake light camera for a 2013 Ford F-250. After installing it and switching the camera on I get a black screen. Plenty of voltage to the camera itself. Any ideas would be appreciated.

If you are getting voltage, there are only a couple things I can think of that would be causing a black screen with the Custom Third Brake Light Camera for 8" Factory Monitor # 3460006 on your 2013 Ford F-250. One - and I know this is very basic but I do have to mention it - is that it will only work if you are in reverse, so make sure you're in reverse when seeing if it will work.
Otherwise, the other thing that may be occurring is a connection not being fully seated or somehow crimped.
