Power Usage of Furrion Chill FR67FJ Dual Zone Unit
Question:
Can the 15 dual zone unit be installed and operate properly in a RV with 50-amp service? I am looking to replace the 2 Dometic ACs in my 2015 Gateway 3650BH 5th wheel. The current setup uses one 13.5 AC and one 15.5 AC.

Expert Reply:
A 50 amp service would be fine, as the combined running draw of the Furrion Chill # FR67FJ units is about 30 amps. You'll want to watch your usage while the air conditioners are running, but if you don't use much in the way of additional power on top of what the air conditioners are using, you'll do fine.
I've linked you to a product description video that explains the Furrion Chill AC units features in detail.
