Does the Curt Trunnion Style Weight Distribution System Need Greased
Question:
Hello, i was trying to figure out if i need to put grease on spring bars where the coonect to the hitch? the instructions are clear on if i should or shouldnt. Ive read online that i should not since these are frictioin bars and that helps with the sway control. Please help

I took a look at the installation instructions for the Curt Trunnion Style Weight Distribution System like part # 17300 and the only parts that require lubrication are the u-bolts on the spring bars and clevis pins in the hitch head. The other friction points should not be lubricated.
