The minimum pressure rating of the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs part # AL88228 which are a fit for a 2004 - 2014 Ford F-150 is 5 psi. The required 5 psi is simply to keep the airbags from deforming but this will not affect the unloaded ride quality at all with this amount.
