Fit of Thule TracRac SR TH43002XT-505 with BAKflip G2 Tonneau Cover on 2001 Toyota Tundra
Question:
I have a 2001 Toyota Tundra SR5 Access Cab w/6’3” bed. I currently have a BakFlip G2 Folding Tonneau Cover installed and am wondering if this rack will be compatible with everything. With what I’ve seen so far it appears that the rails are ok but I’m curious about the overall compatibility with the cover and will either get in each other’s way Thanks!

As far as fit goes, the BAK BAKflip G2 mounts to the inside of the bed rails, leaving the top of the bed side free to install the Thule TracRac SR # TH43002XT-505 on your Tundra.
However, due to the fact that the BAKflip G2 folds up against the rear of the truck cab when fully open, in order to fully open the tonneau cover, you'd need to halfway open the cover, then slide the front most leg as far rearward as you can, then open the tonneau all the way and then slide the front most leg back forward. All this must be done because of the way the uprights for the ladder rack slope inwards toward the bed.
