Which Edge Programmer for a 2003 Isuzu NPR-HD 4HEI Diesel RV Box Van Conversion

Question:

Is the Edge CTS2 or CS2 comparable with my vehicle? It has an OBD plugin but it may not be an OBD II.

All vehicles built after 1996 should have OBD II instead of the OBD ports, so your 2003 Isuzu N-Series will should almost certainly have an OBD II port. You'll be able to tell the difference because the OBD II has 16 pin holes where the OBD has 12. Your vehicle's owner's manual should also tell you whether or not your vehicle is OBD II compatible, if that is still available.

When it comes to choosing between the two, I really prefer the Edge CTS2 # EP84130 to the Edge CS # EP84030 because the screen is generally nicer and it allows you to monitor 12 different parameters compared to 8.

If you've got a backup camera on the vehicle you can use the # EP98201 to connect it to the monitor and make it one less thing you've got to have up in the truck at a time.
