Hitch Bike Rack Recommendation for 2016 Winnebago View Class C Motorhome
Question:
Great answer. The Swagman was next on my list to consider. One question about the Swagman. We have Trek Verve +2 e-bikes and they have small front fenders which protrude maybe an inch into the 12 o'clock position on the front tire. Will the arm on the Swagman lock onto the front tire without damaging the fenders?

I have a bike rack that will work for you, but I cannot recommend the Kuat Sherpa # SH22G for use on your 2016 Winnebago View. Kuat does not approve the use of their Sherpa 2.0 - or other bike racks - on motorhomes or camper trailers. A bike rack is put under a lot more torque and stress when used at the back of a motorhome or camper when compared to being used on a vehicle. Kuat has not tested and designed their bike racks for use under these more strenuous environments. There are not modifications that can be made that would make the bike rack approved for use on a motorhome.
For a bike rack designed to perform well on the back of your Winnebago View, I recommend the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount # KU84FR because it is a similar style rack to the Sherpa. The Transfer V2 rack mounts the bikes by the wheels, like the Sherpa, so that the rack is not contacting the bike rack's paint. This bike rack fits a wide variety of bikes, so it is great for everything from mountain bikes to road bikes to children's bike. It also tilts with the bikes loaded. I have linked a review video of this bike rack for you to check out.
