5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter Compatible with Ford OEM Gooseneck System
Question:
I have a 2017 F250 Superduty with the OEM Prep kit in the bed. I want to convert my 5th wheel to work with the OEM Goosneck. Will this unit work and do I need to change to an aftermarket ball from the stock provided by Ford with the plastic T Handle? Will this work for me Thanks

For your OEM Gooseneck on the 2017 F-250, the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter - 12" to 16" Tall - 20,000 lbs # CAB-C5G will work. The plastic you referenced on the ball will wear down when using this adapter so I recommend using the Curt Pop-In Ball for Factory Chevy/GM, Ford, and Nissan Underbed Gooseneck Hitches - 2-5/16" # C60629 which has a metal adjuster that won't wear down.
