Adding a 7-way and 4-Way Trailer Connector to a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Factory Tow Package

Question:

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2016 5.7L LTD. It came with a tow wiring pre-installed and wanted to be able to use a 4 pin connector for Uhaul to hire to trailers. The connection has the identical connection as this one on your website: 20147 I had purchased locally the Hopkins 47345 thinking that was the connector but clearly it wont fit! Is this the right part ? HM40920

Part # HM40920 will work for you but it's not the one I recommend. Instead prefer part # HM40975. It's the same connector I installed on my 2014 Grand Cherokee which has the same wiring as your 2016.
