Replacement 7-Way RV Harness in Different Lengths
Question:
Do you have various harness lengths that contain a positive and negative wire at 8 gauge for an RV seven pin adaptor
asked by: Robert A
Expert Reply:
There are various lengths of 7-way RV harnesses but they have 10 gauge white and black wires for the positive and negative connections. The 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector - 3' Long # H20042 for example uses 10 gauge wires for positive and ground, 12 gauge wire for brake controller, and 14 gauge for the other functions. The Mighty Cord 7-Way RV-Style Trailer Connector w/ Molded Cable - Trailer End - 10' Long # A10-7W10.
The same wire gauges line up for the vehicle side like the Pollak 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket w/ Wiring Harness and Mounting Bracket # PK11898.
I've attached links to both to assist with the length options.
