Recommended Kayak Carrier for Kevlar 17 Foot long Canoe Compatible with Whisp Bars

Hello, I have the whisper bars and wanted to get canoe rack. Yahkima or Thule will fit better and which one is better overall. I am going to have Kevlar 17 canoe for bmw x5, and second vehicle Subaru outback with its own bars. Thank you

Both Yakima and Thule accessories are generally going to fit the same crossbar sizes, so one really won't fit better than the other and I think functionality is going to be the best way to decide. Additionally, I wasn't able to find any specifications on the sizes of the Whisp Bars you mentioned, so you will want to confirm their size before purchasing any rack.
With that said, since you're going to be carrying a larger canoe, I recommend going with the LockRack Watersport Carrier - Kayak, Canoe, or 2 SUPs - Side Loading - Universal Mount # 339LRUNISETA since it has load assist to help with loading and unloading of the boat. The LockRack carrier will fit on most factory, aero, round or square bars, so as long as your Whisp bars are not larger than 1-1/2" tall and 3" wide, this carrier will work well for you.
If you find out that the bars are larger than that after measuring, just let me know and I can recommend an alternative solution. I've included a video review of the LockRack for you to have a look at and see how it works, but it really is an awesome solution.
