Weight Distribution System Compatible with 2020 Heartland Torque T26  

Question:

I have a 2020 Chevy 2500HD and tow a 2020 Headland Torque T26 Weight.dry 7,780 lbs. 4,972 lbs. GTW 12,800 lbs. Tongue weight 1,080 lbs. I was looking at the Fast way E2 12000 1200 FA92-00-1200. Will this work for my set up?

If the 1,080 lb tongue weight you referenced is loaded tongue weight, then the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion - 12,000 lbs GTW, 1,200 lbs TW # FA92-00-1200 will work well, you just won't want to add more than 120 lbs cargo behind the rear axle of your truck or the tongue weight would be exceeded. You will simply want the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # C40030 and thin walled socket # ALL643216 for installation.

If that is the unloaded tongue weight, then you will need a higher rated system and I recommend the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 15,000 lbs GTW, 1,500 lbs TW # C17501 for a similar system which will work well for your application. This is rated for total tongue weights between 1,000 and 1,500 lbs.
