Bike Rack Recommendation for Carrying Carbon Frame Bikes
Question:
Hello, I have a Honda Civic sedan 4 doors and need a bike rack. Two moutain bikes 1 in carbon 29 and 27.5 wheels. One 20 inches and the last, 24. I’m wondering which rack to buy. Maybe a Thule T2 Pro XT and 2 Thule upride. I have the Thule WingBar,Evo. Swagman G10 or Yakima HoldUp Evo? Also, can I use Yakima rack on my Thule bar? Thanks

For a hitch bike rack the Thule T2 Pro part # TH83JV would an excellent choice to carry your carbon framed mountain bikes. Since this rack only touches the bikes by the tires the delicate frame material wouldn't get potentially damaged. The roof bike rack Thule Upride part # TH599000 would then be a really great option as well for your Thule Wingbar crossbars.
You can use Yakima roof rack bike racks on your Thule bars as well.
