Will Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack Fit On a 2010 Toyota RAV4

Question:

I just purchased the Kuat Sherpa from you all and my wifes car is the 2010 Toyota Rav4. Will it fit? Thanks for your help.

The Kuat Sherpa 2.0 2 Bike Rack, part # SH22G, will fit a 2-inch hitch, so it will fit the hitch on your 2010 Toyota RAV4 as long as you have a 2 inch trailer hitch installed. If you have a Class II, 1-1/4 inch hitch, then you will need part # SH12G.

If you have the rear spare tire on your RAV4 you will need to take a measurement to determine if the Sherpa bike rack will clear the rear spare tire. Measure from the hitch pin hole in the receiver back until you clear the rear spare tire. For the rack to fit when in the down position, the measurements on the vehicle have to be less that 13 inches. And to fit when folded up, the measurements have to be less than 9 inches.

Based on installations we have done on a 2010 Toyota RAV4, the Sherpa bike rack should fit fine in the down position, but you will probably have interference when it is folded up. I have included a link to a video review of the bike rack for you. The vehicle is different, but the video will show the features of the bike rack.
