Will the Firestone Ride-Rite Airbags fit a 2007 Chevy 2500 Classic with a Pullrite Superglide Hitch
Question:
I would like to install firestone air bags on my 2007 Chevy 2500HD classic body style truck. I have a 14K pullrite superglide hitch installed with the hidden rails. Meaning that all you can see in the bed is the holes. I am concerned that the airbags will not fit.

Expert Reply:
The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, # F2250, mount to the bottom of the frame rail on your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado classic body.
Airbag manufacturers do not test their mounting brackets for fits with specific fifth wheel or gooseneck hitches. To determine if these bags will fit with your Superglide hitch, you will want to take a look at the mounting brackets for your hitch. As long as the mounting brackets for your Pullrite Superglide do not mount on the bottom of the frame rail above the axle, then these airbags will fit.
I have attached an installation video on a truck similar to yours for you to check out.
