Will Thule Outbound Roof Top Bag # TH868 Fit On a 2011 Jeep Patriot With Factory Cross Bars

i was just wondering if Thule Outbound Roof Top Bag, 13 cubic feet #th868 could fit a factory 2011 Jeep Patriot, which has factory cross bars. I noticed that the Yakima GetOut Rooftop Cargo Bag - 13 Cubic Feet seems to be the same size, but mi wondering about the Thule since it seems to have a little more utility. Thank you

Yes, you would be able to attach the Thule Outbound Roof Top Bag, part # TH868, to the cross bars of your 2011 Jeep Patriot. The instructions state that if possible, place the bag between the bars so that it fits snugly between them. It can also ride on top of the bars if needed. The bag attaches to the cross bars using straps that are attached to the bag. I am including a link to the installation instructions.

If the bag will be resting on the roof of your vehicle I would recommend that you thoroughly clean the top of your roof and the bottom of your bag to prevent scratching on your vehicle paint. You could also consider a Roof Protection Pad # RL100650 to further protect your roof.

Make sure that you stay within the manufacturer recommended weight capacity for your roof. Check your owners manual for weight capacities. I have included a video review of the Thule Outbound cargo bag # TH868.
