Will the Thule Passage 2 Trunk Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2011 Volkswagen Golf

Yes, Thule does list the Passage 2 bike rack, # TH910XT, as a fit for a 2011 Volkswagen Golf 3- or 5-door.

The instructions give the following fit tips:

Place top clips in the gap at the front edge of the top of the trunk, hatch or door.
Place lower clips in the bottom edge of trunk or hatch.
Caution: Rear wiper can not be used when carrier is mounted.
Lower arm of carrier should be positioned on upper tier of bumper.

I have included a link to the installation instructions and a video review for you. If you will be carrying womens, childrens, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend the bike adpater bar, # TH982XT, for greater ground clearance and to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video that shows how the adapter works.
