Can I Use a Gooseneck Adapter on my Fifth Wheel and Haul it with my 2015 Ford F-250 Standard Bed

Question:

I just purchased a 5th wheel toy hauler that has a gooseneck adapter on the king pin. I have a 2015 standard bed F250. Im wondering if I could get a gooeneck ball installed in my truck and not have any issues with the 5th wheel hitting my cab? The previous owner had a chevy 2500 standard bed and said he didnt have any issues. Just wondering what my best bet is here?

With an adapter like the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter part # CAB-C5G and a standard bed length which generally means the 8 foot bed not the short bed which is 6 3/4' you will likely be in really good shape.

If you have the 6 3/4' it can be closer and depending on the camper's design may cause interference with the cab.

With that said a great Gooseneck option is the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit part # BWGNRK1111 this is a custom fit option for you 2015 Ford F-250 and will allow you to connect the camper to.

Even with the 6 3/4' bed length if this were to not work for you adding the B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # BWRVK3400 and removing your current adapter you will be able to haul your camper without issues as this allows the camper to side back 12" to help with slow speed maneuvering.
