Because of your surge coupler, you won't want to use a typical chain suspended type system, as it would prevent the coupler from actuating fully.
Equal-i-zer is our most recommended weight distribution and sway control solution. They're manufactured in the USA, and their products are high quality, very effective, quite durable and extremely highly rated by our customers.
To choose the correct system for you, you'll need to know the tongue weight of the boat trailer when fully loaded and ready to tow. I'll link and article that explains a few ways of doing this (a tongue weight scale like
# e99044 is an easy way to check this).
If your tongue weight is less than 600 lbs, the Equal-i-zer # EQ37060ET would be a great choice. If it's above 600 but less than 1000 lbs, use # EQ37100ET.
Because bolt trailers have a pole type tongue (versus an A-frame), you'll also need a pole tongue adapter, part # EQ95-01-5950
A less expensive option would be the Reese # RE34FR, and a # RP58393 pole tongue adapter. But because this is only a 2 point sway control with resistance applied where the spring bar slides across the frame bracket, versus the 4 point control from the bracket/bar and the bar connections to the weight distribution head provided by the Equal-i-zer systems.
