Compatibility of Two Roof Mounted Bike Racks with Cargo Carrier on 2019 Subaru Impreza
Question:
Hello, I have questions about a couple of products. 1. The Thule Sidekick cargo box. I want to fit the Sidekick in between two Rockymounts Tomahawk roof bike racks. So, the Sidekick would sit in the middle of the bike racks. My crossbars are Subaru factory for the Impreza sedan. The bars about 33 long. Would I be able to open the lid of the Sidekick, if I removed bikes from the racks? 2. Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4. Im thinking about this item so I could attach 2 bike hitch rack. Will my Subaru Impreza sedan manage this tralier hitch, a 2 bike hitch rack, and 2 adult bikes racks maximum bike weight? Thanks in advance

The Thule Sidekick cargo box # TH78GC is 25 inches wide. The RockyMounts Tomahawk # RKY1222 is 12 inches wide, but the ratcheting arm can be on the outside for clearance. Based on the 33 inch long bars you referenced you will only be able to use one bike rack with the Sidekick.
You may be able to use two Tomahawks with the Yakima SkinnyWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 58" Long x 23" Wide - 165 lbs # Y07014 or # Y07014-16 but that will still be a tight fit even with the ratcheting arms both on the outside edges.
The complete weight including bikes, racks, carrier, and cargo will need to be under the maximum weight of your factory crossbars. That information should be available in your owners manual.
