Can the Breakaway System Be Used To Hold a Trailer While Parked On An Incline
Question:
So, does the break away pin once pulled keep the rpod from rolling backwards. Some campsites can be somewhat inclined which is a little unnerving even with chocks behind each wheel. I was wondering if the braking system keeps the trailer from rolling backwards with the pin out, as well as, at what level Of incline will the braking system be overcome?

Expert Reply:
The breakaway system is not designed to stop the trailer from rolling away while parked. This would not work in such manor either as the battery would go dead after only a short time. Furthermore, this could potentially damage the braking assemblies as well. If you are uncomfortable with just basic wheel chocks, I recommend the Rumber Wheel Chock Set part # RM57FR which are much more heavy duty and have a chain that attaches the two.
