I checked with Thule and the Stacker kayak carrier, # TH830, will fit a 2009 Subaru Impreza 5-door with factory installed crossbars that run side to side. To make it easier to tie down the bow/stern easier, I recommend the etrailer tie down kit # e36ZR that gives you some additional straps and some amazing foam anchors that close into your trunk or hood without damaging your vehicle.
