How to Choose Correct Replacement Key for Thule Lock on Roof Rack Foot

Question:

I lost the key to my Thule foot lock. There is no lock number stamped on the lock. I think it was a generic key. How do I find the right replacement key?

If your Thule foot has a metal lock core then there will be a code either on the face of the lock core or on the barrel. Once you find this you can then find the correct replacement key by entering "THKEYNXXX" where the Xs are the part number. For example, if your lock for says N061 then the replacement key is # THKEYN061.

Seeing the code on the face of the lock is pretty self-explanatory. If you don't see the code there then you can use the Universal Change Key # 853-1251 and find the code on the side of the barrel. Please note that this will only work if the lock core is in the unlocked position. If it's locked then you'll need to either have a locksmith come out or you'll have to drill out the core and order a new core. To order a lock core that matches what you had you simply need to type your code in our search bar using "THLOCKNXXX" which is the same scenario for the key mentioned above.
