You can easily tow a 5th wheel trailer with the factory gooseneck ball that comes with the 5th wheel towing prep package on your 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 with the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550045.
This is a 5th wheel hitch that attaches directly to your truck's gooseneck ball, allowing you to easily and safely tow your fifth wheel trailer. The Recon is simple to install and really convenient because it comes in two lightweight pieces so you can easily install and remove the hitch for a clean, open truck bed when you come back from your trip.
The Recon also has a robust and strong single-piece jaw (pictured) that wraps totally around the king pin while being reinforced with a 3/4" solid steel bar that locks into place once the jaw is closed. This reinforced jaw system ensures you will have a smooth and comfortable ride while using the hitch.
