Recommended Adapter to Flat Tow 2017 Toyota 4Runner with Aftermarket Front Bumper

Question:

I have read and understand how to flat tow my 4 runner with the transfer case in neutral although Toyota says not to. What I need help with is: I want to use your blue ox toe bar but I would like to put an hefty aftermarket front bumper on the 4Runner first. I live in Colorado And hitting a deer is a real danger. So is there a recommended aftermarket front bumper / toe bar combination I should be looking at? Thank for you help

We don't carry any aftermarket bumpers for your 4Runner but that is the route I recommend. The reason is that adding a bull bar or a grille guard will interfere with the mounting locations of baseplates, so you can't have both. If you get a heavy duty front bumper with D-rings then you can use those as your baseplates using your Blue Ox Tow Bar and the corresponding adapter:
