Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Recommendation for 2016 Honda Odyssey with Spoiler

Question:

Hi, I found that you recommend 3 different trunk bike racks for the 2016 Honda Odyssey. When I look at the car, I see that the upper section of the trunk door, where two of the straps would be attached, is made of plastic. Is there an elevated risk of rupture or is that a common feature in minivans? I guess the basic question is if I should be worried :- Thanks!

For your 2016 Honda Odyssey that has a factory spoiler the Hollywood Racks Over the Top # HRF2-3 is a fit and the way to go for sure. It was designed to fit vehicles with factory spoilers like yours and it does so by reaching over the spoiler so that it does not put any weight or strain on it.
