Recommended Roof Cargo Box for 2013 Toyota 4Runner
Question:
Looking for recommendations for best fit on a 2013 4Runner cargo top carrier with most capacity but not hitting rear hatch

I recommend going with the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Roof Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Black Carbonite # Y95AV which will fit on the factory crossbars on your 2013 Toyota 4Runner. This was confirmed with Yakima as a fit for your vehicle, but I do recommend making sure that the distance from the center of your front crossbar to the line where the roof meets the rear hatch is at least 47"; this will ensure there is no interference with the box when opening that door. The undercut tail of this box helps reduce issues with cargo hatch clearance, so it's really a great choice for your vehicle compared to some of the Thule boxes.
I've linked a review video that shows it on a similar 4Runner that I recommend having a look at, as well.
