Which 7-Way Circuit Does Battery Positive Post Wire Run To Typically

Question:

Hi I got a Chevy Silverado 92 and I need to install a 7 Pin Trailer connector. I connected the 4 Pin and the Backing Lights wire to the Truck Backing Lights. I ran a two wire Cable from the Engine-room to the Back for Auxillery 12 V and the Brake Control Where is best to connect the Auxillary 12V wire to? I guess there is no permanend power on the Taillight harness. Whats the easyest to connect to? dont want to go right to Battery because i dont want to drawn in Thanks

The wire that runs from the battery would normally run to the 12 volt accessory circuit of the 7-way which is the pin in the 1:00 position. Now if you don't have a need for this circuit you don't have to make this connection as it's not required for the other lighting functions to work or the brake controller circuit.
