Troubleshooting Hopkins Smart Hitch Camera Screen Blue
Question:
I purchased a smart hitch camera and couple years ago and it’s worked great. But now when I go to put my truck in reverse it just shows a blank blue screen. What could be wrong?

The trouble with your Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System part # HM50002 is likely in the connection points. Not as likely but possible is the camera itself has failed.
To start I would check each connection for corrosion, clean them and reconnect them. If still no signal check that the camera is getting power if it is and still nothing then the system will need to be replaced.
