Weight Distribution System for 2014 Toyota Tundra Towing 3,500 lb Doolittle Trailer

Question:

I have a 2015 Tundra double cab and tow a 14 Doolittle 3500lb single axle trailer loaded with a 1700lb UTV. I have been thinking about sumosprings or timbren, then thought about a weight distribution hitch instead. I like the E2 hitch but dont know what model to get. Im thinking the 600 trunion E2 would work, but want to make sure. Only thing I might add to the truck is a fourwheeler in the bed or on the trailer, if it fits.

For getting rid of sag from towing a trailer weight distribution is the better choice than suspension enhancement. Not only does it remove the sag from the trailer's tongue weight but it does so by distributing some of the trailer's tongue weight up to the front axle of the tow vehicle which helps with braking and handling.

The Fastway E2 systems like the part # FA92-00-0600 you referenced are a solid choice. This has a tongue weight range of 250 to 600 lbs so it would be perfect for your Doolittle. You'll just also need a thin-walled socket too to install the included hitch ball # ALL643216 and you'd be set.
