Measurements for Placing Fifth Wheel Rails in Bed of 2005 Nissan Titan 5.5 ft Bed
Question:
I have an e16 Curt fifth wheel and universal mounting rail system. Im installing in a 2005 Nissan Titan with 5.5 bed. I ordered truck and hitch specific underbed brackets for mounting but was wondering if some one could tell me the distance from back to first mounting rail for proper placement. The actual measurements. I have a sidewinder installed so already know about clearance issue.

When installing a universal fifth wheel rail kit like the Reese part # RP30035-405 the rear rail edge will be 26-1/2 inches from the rear edge of the rear of the truck bed of your 2005 Nissan Titan.
